Yeah, it's a close second when it comes to my favourite Steely Dan works. Top spot goes to Aja for me.

Update on the album-diggage situation...

^ Far from my favourite area of Davey B's discography, but this bootleg is just superb. The latest in a line of re-discoveries in my CD pile.

Not listened to this all the way through since about a year ago, got some good tracks but there are some weak ones also. Prob best pick and choosing tracks.

Lymbyc Systym - Carved by glaciers

Nice melodic post-rock. Really digging the beautiful melancholy electric piano in this

Isis - Panopticon

Beautiful post-metal album. I lost this one a couple months ago. It's good to have it back.

^ And this blew me away with the first listen. Fantastic beats, fantastic use of vocals - classic.
My dad jus got that elvis costelo. I love how jazzy it is

Monster by REM... time has not faded my love for this album, just a damn fine early nineties rock album, although the tunefullness you expect of these guys, except with the amps turned up and lotsa distortion.... good stuff! Have seen most of these songs played live, too!

I LOVE this EP, so perfect and much more solid than the LP. I think the one with the cover you posted is a reissue with bonus tracks or remixes though, I'm speaking of the original 5-track release. These guys were great live, too. I'm wondering when they'll have something new.

I'd love to see your signature/links too, but the huge and obnoxious ones have caused me to block all signatures.

Otis Redding - Dictionary Of Soul

After ToeAndno's Soul Compilation was thoroughly listened to, I decided it's time was time for some Otis. I started with Dictionary Of Soul, as that has Try A Little Tenderness... yeah that song Ducky dances to. No, I haven't seen Pretty In Pink, but I have seen that scene, my girlfriend showed it to me. It's actually a small part of the reason I wanted to get into Soul. I mean, that scene is rad.

Anyway the album is glowing with soul and Otis's vocals feel like they're shooting out into space. Just jam-packed with finger-snapping emotion, I love it! If anyone wants an up give me a PM and I'll work it out as soon as I can.

It's a top album eh. I love all the soul and r'n'b elements that they throw in as well. It'd be one of my favourites from the guy if it was a) by him alone and b) didn't have a couple of pretty boring space-fillers on it as well.
