Absolute goliath of an album. 3 years ago i would never have imagined a band like these becoming one of my favourites but then again most bands aren't as consistent as this lot, definitely not as intense!
pm?

Kezia is 1.5X better than Fortress by my estimates, and some of the Smiths best tracks are on LtB (including my fav, Please Please Please).

I've been following Davey Moore's 100 essays on 100 albums, so I've been re-listening to a lot of my favorites.

It's not an album but a mai single and my first tentative taste of the band:

What have I been missing? It's frigging brilliant. Reminds me of a cross between Echo & The Bunnymen and Lloyd Cole. I want MOAR!

I love The Church incredibly, I'm surprised you hadn't gotten into them earlier! If you need any more links I've just about got every album.

I got myself a handly link with most of their discog along with tons of other Aussie bands that looks like a veritable goldmine!
