A Ghost Is Born-Wilco.
Sadly underacknowledgedas the brilliant experimental alt-country it is.

Not really in the mood for arty shit or alternative bollocks. Meat & potatoes metal will do me just fine for now thank you.

ROFL. It's one of the finest 80's Metal albums that rarely get's a mention. Good choice Urban, Sorcerers is a storming track. As for NWOBHM I recently got this and it's solid stuff with a very small Prog/Symphonic edge:

Downloaded this last week, played only twice so far but really like it. Nice IDM from an Italian duo (2 brothers) on Richard D. James' Rephlex label. Very well done.

D'Arcangelo - Eksel

I'd love to see your signature/links too, but the huge and obnoxious ones have caused me to block all signatures.

i have no idea where or how i found out about this album. so far it's sheer bliss -- a pastiche of angular spacey guitar, distorted bass and unintelligible lyrics. the closest comparison i can make without delving into RIO semantics is Public Image Ltd. running headlong into a brick wall.
