Yeah I'd never even heard of them, the album just showed up one day on a trusted blog and with noise and shoegaze in the description I couldn't really pass it up. City Noise was my favorite tune. Very cool stuff, I'll have to check out the new album when it comes out. Thanks for the heads up

It's also worth checking out their first album Sweet Heart Dealer, and they have a couple of EPs as well.

I don't know if you've heard of the band Jack Off Jill but Scarling's singer Jessika was their frontwoman. They were a really cool, f**ked-up band and they still have a pretty strong cult following.

Really enjoying the mixture of pop, folk, experimentalish sounds and great vocals, definitely worth checking out. The band is formerly known as cavil at rest.

John Lydon - Psycho's Path

Good little album this. Some of it, particularly the latter half, drags a little, but a few of the songs are as good as anything the guy did with PIL. He recorded pretty much every instrumental part as well, which is alright I guess. If it had Leftfield's original Open Up mix as a bonus track instead of the so-so Chemical Brothers one, I'd listen to this much more.

listening to Addicted! by Devin Townsend, finally in its full bitrated goodness.... the music itself is awesome, and now it sounds like it's full awesomeness!

Long forgotten outer space themed black metal album from Poland.
Quirky and sort of amateur-ish sounding in some respects but has grown on me nonetheless.
I probably would have never checked these guys out if I hadn’t stumbled across it in some pawn shop about a year and a half ago.

Quite simply the best instrumental hip-hop album i've heard. I haven't had much time for music lately but i've had a lot of time for this.

Bits and pieces from the now defunct Giant Drag. Longer, more ballad orientated songs which is great as they tended to be my favourites songs on Hearts and Unicorns. I MISS THEM.

Well duh. I could pick a much better setlist but they're as electric on this as ever.

Johnny Thunders - Que Sera Sera

As far as I know, this is Thunders' only other genuine solo album of original material other than the awesome So Alone. It's good - one or two great songs (like the below for example) which fuse punk rock, 50s rock 'n' roll and soul/r'n'b nicely, but some of it's a bit unspectacular. Still worth having though.
