The Marcia Blaine School For Girls - Halfway Into the Woods
 I've had this for several years, always thought it was just alright...not bad but not great. Well this evening it came on after I played some Maps & Atlases and I let it roll...been enjoying it quite a bit. Guess it's a case of an album taking a while to grow on you or something. I'll be listening to it again much sooner next time.

 Rosetta - A Determinism of Morality (2010) Finally sat down and gave this album the attention it deserved. I remember when I received it back at the beginning of the month I was over half-way through and I heard this one part with clean... metalcoreish sounding vocals (you know the worst part of metalcore besides the breakdowns... and everything else) and I was just turned off and put on their debut CD. Well I've gotten over that little fit and have really gotten into the album. Rosetta definitely show that they have what it takes to differentiate themselves from some of the more popular post-metal bands out there and can stand on their own two feet. I still hate that part with the clean vocals, but other than that the album is a gem and needs to be looked at by anyone who likes Neurosis, ISIS, Pelican, Russian Circles, etc. |

1. (Whats The Story) Morning Glory? - Oasis
I'm a bit late on it, but its still amazing. Fave Tracks: Don't Look Back In Anger, Champagne Supernova, Wonderwall, She's Electric 2. Favourite Worst Nightmare - Arctic Monkeys Alex Turner has a great voice, and the songs are all pretty good. Fave Tracks: Flourescent Adolescent, Brainstorm, Temptation Greets You Like A Naughty Friend 3. Lungs - Florence + the Machine Her vocals are beautiful, and her songs have strong, lasting beats that somehow, amazingly, do not become repetitive. Fave Tracks: Dog Days Are Over, Cosmic Love, Hurricane Drunk, You Got The Love |
