While I'll admit that in 2010 "The Robots" sounds incredibly corny, it still doesn't sound dated, and neither does any other song on the album. It's kind of surprising considering how well this holds up considering the fact that it's been aped so furiously over the past 30+ years.
I love that album. And I love "The Robots".

kraftwerk are one of those bands that most people i know would roll their eyes and cringe(quite the expression) when they heard the first few seconds of most songs by them.

Well that's certainly true, though they're a pretty heavy indirect influence on a lot of it.

most people i know don't care enough to appreciate that either. and i think that kind of influence(electronics) was inevitable, not a true mark of musical genius. but they certainly weren't bad or even average.

I have been listening to the Suburbs nonstop for days now. I love me some Arcade Fire.

I'd love me a copy of that album, but, alas, budget - wise it's not a good album purchasing time for me in August...

Ahhh I love Die Mensch-Maschine. The Model is probably my fav track from it... have you heard the Big Black cover? It's pretty sweet.
