It sounded a bit more like Fuck Buttons, to be honest.

sooner or later, I always seem to get back to this album .The line-up on the cover speaks for itself, but this is just one of the best examples of post-bop that there is.
sounds good, I'll give it a go.

I read the line-up for that album and my jaw dropped (not really but there was most definitely a vivid mental image of me with my jaw dropping).

Yeah, it's pretty worthy of some mandibular dysfunction. Evans and Dolphy seal the deal, of course.

I had forgotten how much I love this album.

Alexisonfire "Dog's Blood"

Alexisonfire are one of my favorite bands, but I think most fans will agree that they've been going increasingly soft over the years. This EP was released as a safe medium for songs that would probably not make it onto a full-length album, and it's really refreshing to hear them make music without worrying about how commercially successful it will be. The EP consists of two straight-up hardcore punk songs, something they've rarely done since their debut album, a bluesy stoner-esque song, and a moody instrumental track. The whole tone is darker than anything they've released before, and this is perfect autumn music (fortunately this thing leaked yesterday, Halloween ftw). Highly recommended.

I'd love to see your signature/links too, but the huge and obnoxious ones have caused me to block all signatures.

Alice in Chains has to be my favorite "Grunge" band from the 90's. Heck if I put enough thought into it they'd probably be on my top 10. Even though I consider there music more heavy metal than anything. I'd have to say that this is my favorite Alice in Chains album. It's there heaviest almost "sludgy" at points.
