Cult of Luna- Somewhere Along The Highway. Immense post metal.

Renaissance-S.T. Great Prog.

Kings Of Leon-Only By The Night. Perfectly acceptable.

Foetus-Nail. Big. Noisy. Alternative. Love it.

I have been giving this a fair play.

I know nothing of their previous stuff but I am enjoying this one.

Meat Puppets II is a classic album. Well worth your time.

I've been trying to get into screamo lately, and I just keep coming back to this. Awesome.

Favorite songs: The Burden Of Reflecting, Venus and Bacchus, Postlapsaria

Post-hardcore with hints of metalcore and southern rock.

Favorite Songs: The Seduction, You Think I'm Pretty?, Best In Mexico

and of course, you all know about:

It's great, and if there is a band that sounds similar I want to know about them.

Favorite Songs: White Winter Hymnal, Tiger Mountain Peasent Song, Your Protector

On today's playlist;

/\
Quite possibly my favourite Nick Cave album. Depends what mood I'm in really

/\
Dug this out for the first time in an age or two

/\
Had this album for quite a while, I've only just started really getting into it though

/\
And there's just no wrong time to dig this one out once in a while

I'm really digging this album at the moment. Assembled from approximately 3,500 vinyl samples, it sounds a bit like DJ Shadow's Endtroducing...... but far more fun.
