I'd love to see your signature/links too, but the huge and obnoxious ones have caused me to block all signatures.

Dry-PJ Harvey
Still havn't got around to Let England Shake, but revisiting this first album provided precisely the dirty, misanthropic kick I was looking for. Some great slow-building tracks on it, in addition to good singles.

Paradise Lost - In Requiem

Very soothing gothic metal.

JLIAT - The Nature of Nature

Aside from the really cliched album title... Just a captivating drone for over 70 minutes. Simple, yes, but utterly enthralling in its repetitious nature. Imagine Windy & Carl without the change, without the words, without the human life exploring the icy terrains that the music creates. This piece conjures mental images of water slowly running along the surface of a lake, mountaintop views of a hundred acres of snowy terrain, and there are no humans around to experience it. Fans of early SOTL, Windy & Carl, William Basinski, Birchville Cat Motel, Pelt, early Earth, etc. should all find something beautiful in this album's lovely redundancy.
