Shabazz Palaces - Black Up

This album is so good. Every time I come back to it I am amazed.

This might be my favourite Cursive album now. The Game of Who... and The Martyr are some of the best Indie Rock I've ever heard.

Sigh - In Somniphobia (2012)

I'm very happy with this album. It seems like a call back to their 2001 magnum opus Imaginary Sonicscape, with just a bizarre conglomeration of sounds and genres, and it lacks the anger and intensity found on their 2010 album Scenes From Hell. In Somniphobia has a bit more of a jazz focus, utilizing the talent of the lovely Dr. Mikannibal and her alto sax, although this isn't featured throughout the entire album. Basically if you like Sigh then you'll like this album, but I don't see this being the album that will make people a believer.

I liked that album too, but it was my first Sigh album. Suggestions?

I would say check out Imaginary Sonicscape (2001) and work your way up to Scenes From Hell (2010), then go back and listen to Hail Horror Hail (1997) and Scenario IV: Dread Dreams (1999) and then finally listen to Infidel Art (1995) and Scorn Defeat (1993).

Been awhile since I've listened to Alice Cooper, or any "normal" rock at all. This album reminds me of what I used to love so much.

This, as well as other stuff from The Who. Once again, haven't heard much traditional rock in a looooong time.

Easy Starr All Stars has a reggae cover of Dark Side Of The Moon called Dub Side Of The Moon. This is the dub version of the reggae version of Dark Side Of The Moon. Plus, some dubstep remixes. Awesome.

How Do You Dub? - De Facto
Suprisingly enough it was easy to imagine what Omar and Cedric doing a dub project would sound like, these guys are awesome musicians.

Clark - Body Riddle

Clams Casino like beats, ambient, chilled out. Good for the mind

Pretty long album, but I can listen to it over and over. Mostly instrmental, has you bopping your head feeling the grooves from beginning to end.

The Flashbulb - Kirlian Selections

"It's not noise, it's art."

This album is so depressing but so beautiful. It sort of makes me feel like I'm in a depressing black and white 50s movie.
