I've been really into the Raincoats recently and i'm thinking i like this a bit more than the debut. 1 part the violin raping post punk they're good for, 1 part really quirky and likeable pop. Pretty and Don't Be Mean are catchy little oddities that are incredibly endearing, the highlight is easily Love a Loser though, i've had it in my head the last 3 days.

I've only recently ventured into the genius of Iron & Wine and I've been listening to this a lot. Truly lovely.

Can't believe I waited so long to listen to this..Amazing album. Really great laid back production from Pete Rock and C.L. Smooth provides quality raps. Highly recommended to fans of 90's rap such as A Tribe Called Quest, Gang Starr, and the Jungle Brothers.

For years Ive thought this band was terrible, but I decided to give this album another listen the other day and now I really like it. Much, much better than I originally thought. Highly recommended.

Its the same case with this band as The Hold Steady. When I saw this leaked I decided to try it out and Im definitely enjoying it. The vocals can get a little grating but you have to love the instrumental parts and and lyrics in songs like Twist and Shout and The Replacements (about the band).

Slipknot - Iowa
I've been listening to Slipknot's sophmore album "Iowa" lately. This is in my opinion the heaviest Slipknot album . Although the lyrics aren't necessarily brilliant the heavy riff's make up for it.
Favorite Songs: People = S**t, Disasterpiece, My Plague, Everything Ends, The Heretic Anthem, Left Behind and Iowa.

Good album this, wouldn't quite put it up with his best work though. Chilled, laid back, and the quality of the lyrics makes it so easy to just lose yourself in the music too. Has a couple of pretty dull moments on it, but the highlights are wonderful (Nightingale is just such a pretty song), and it's just great listening for this time of night (GMT).

This is an incredible compilation of songs that were written by Marc Bolan when he was fucking 15 years old! It's so great.

Great DK album. Biafra is so insane.

I'll never get tired of this album, each track compliments the next.

I recently had a go at a Radiohead album that wasn't OK Computer or In Rainbows and loved it. This was that album.

Yes, everyone knows this is one of my favorite albums, but I seriously can't give it enough praise. Some parts are absolutely unbelievable, and I always hear something new. I regret now not putting this higher on my list.

Fuck you, 1039/Smoothed Out Slappy Hours pwns.

I've been diggin' on this album for a few months. Believe it or not, I picked this up years ago because of all things, a boy I had a crush on loved this album and I just wanted to have something in common with him. I listened to it a few times and wasn't really into it...filed it away and didn't pick it back up until a few months ago. I was retarded back in the day...how could I not like this? Natalie Merchant's vocals work perfectly with the folk-bluesy feel of this album, and I just can't get enough of it now. Fave songs are: This House is on Fire, Saint Judas, and Henry Darger.

Aaaah what is life without a little Reed.

Absolutely brilliant, and disturbing.

A forgotten masterpiece, my current favorite album.
