I've never really listened to Desmond Dekker, but his mixture of Reggae with what seems like a little catchy pop influence struck a chord and really chilled me out all weekend.

Jonsi's Go album. Sorry but I think Muse are kind of pretentious Radiohead wannabes...

Boris - Akuma no uta

Wow, I need to get me more Boris ASAP. Incredibly fun sludge/drone-metal. I heard they got their name from the Melvins song, and I can definitely see the influence.

Thanks RezZ

I'm just now getting around to listening to it but I'm definitely going to be playing it a few times back to back.

I've been flirting curiously with jazz for a while and now I'm getting into it proper, especially Don Cherry and this. Pretty much a perfect record.

Husker Du - Warehouse Songs and Stories

Bought this a couple of years back. Listened to it once. Was disappointed. Never went back to it till last week. Blew me away. Power pop bliss. Now my favourite Du record.

Aesop Rock - None Shall Pass

Awesome hip hop. He seems to catch flak for his lyrical style, but I LOVE it.

Nujabes - Metaphorical Music

One word: grooooovy
