Uncommon Nasa - New York Telephone (2014)

Pretty awesome New York Hip Hop album in the kind of Def Jux realm.

Punky, garagey, indie blues rock. Not exactly an envelope pusher, but the best tracks on this album are really, really good stuff. This is perfect driving-with-the-windows-down music. Raw and full of life.
Forgot to say that I am loving this by the way.

Lewis - L'Amour (1983)

Quite lovely and ethereal record here. Very simple production and almost too subtle at times. But it's gripping in a strange way.

This is the best article I have read about the album and it's little known creator:

The Curious Case of Lewis

Took me a while to get to this one because I was really disappointed in **** The False but I agree, definitely his best yet.

Sinkane- Mean Love.

Good combination of electronic and modern R&B. Contains the unbelievably good song "Hold Tight" (Link Below) and "Galley Boys". Other Songs i like are "How we Be", "New Name" and "Moonstruck". Hell, the whole album's pretty consistent.
