"I'm Only Sleeping", "She Said She Said", and "Tomorrow Never Knows" are the only songs I can really get into. Everything Paul wrote for the album is ****ing awful (excluding "Here, There And Everywhere, which is okay).

Dunno what it is. Just never "got" that album.

...well, you have, but you should still hear it. The last few minutes are like...doom metal even before Sabbath.
That's probably my favourite Beatles song. And I completely agree on the doom references... that's what I thought of it when I first heard it.

I reckon Abbey Road is the best, but you'll get different answers for this.

Eleanor Rigby? A Day in the Life? And Your Bird Can Sing?

Some people just can't see past the twee-ness of some of McCartney's music to see that he was a compositional genius. Granted, Yellow Submarine is of little consequence (we used to sing it in nursery school) but there's even a contradictory backing vocal to be heard buried in that.

I would describe I Want You (She's So Heavy) pretty damn progressive actually

It is... in fact, I put the Beatles in my prog folder. That's going to anger a few people.

"Eleanor Rigby" really irritates me for some reason. Good song, but it bugs me. If that even makes sense.

And "A Day In The Life" isn't on Revolver.

Hmmm, dodgy. I have A Day in the Life on my version of Revolver as track 13 but I also have it on Sgt Pepper's (where it should be). I was wondering what was up with that but never bothered checking.
