I wanna listen to some "65daysofstatic" but not sure where to start?
As far as EITS, definitely check out This Will Destroy You, God Is An Astronaut, Mogwai, pg.lost, and Mono.

GY!BE you should check out A Silver Mt. Zion, they're basically Diet Godspeed (several members of GY!BE including guitarist Efrim Menuck). Start with their earlier albums and work up b/c not everybody likes Efrim's voice, and he sings progressively more and more with each album. It took me awhile to get used to it, but I find now I like their later albums because their earlier albums just make me want to listen to Godspeed.

Do Make Say Think is another band you could try, I haven't listened to much of them but have been meaning to for awhile.

Oh and for the 65dos start with either The Fall of Math (my personal favorite) or else One Time For All Time.

As I'm not much experienced with the RHCP discography and their style evolution with all the members changing, all I wanted to ask: which of their albums truly show the Frusciante style or vibe?
I'd say Blood Sugar Sex Magik.

Though i'm not to into RHCP either if someone who is more experienced with them can give you an answer i'dtake there word over mine.

You might want to check out Ataxia if you liked his solo stuff.

Yeah, I've never actually listened to Frusciante's solo work, but Blood Sugar Sex Majik is my favorite RHCP album, so I'd say go with BTown's suggestion here.

Default Please suggest me some Pink Floyd Alike tracks

I am a great fan of Pink Floyd. I have heard almost all of their tracks and some of my fav ones are below.

1. Comfortably Numb
2. The Wall
3. High hopes
4. Hey You
5. Sorrow
6. Run Like hell
7. Shine on you crazy Diamond
8. Echoes
9. Learning to Fly
10. Wish you were here.

After hearing these tracks for a long time, i did some research on their genres i.e. Psychedelic and Progressive Rocks (correct me if I am wrong).

I downloaded some of the top songs of these genres (after going through blogs and articles) but I never found these tracks soulful and melodic like Pink Floyd tracks.

I would be really grateful if someone can suggest me lyrical (philosophical) and soulful melodies like my fav Pink Floyd tracks above.

Thanks

De-Loused In The Comatorium 2003, hit them where they are at their finest. Then ascend from there on in.

Question I need some dance CD recommendations

The type of dance songs I enjoy are ones with lyrics, not just beats. I like a lot of dance music from the 1990s. Some examples of songs I like are:

- More and More by Captain Hollywood
- Sweet Dreams, Be My Lover by La Bouche
- just about every song on the Night at the Roxbury soundtrack
- Winter by DT8 Project

Can someone recommend me some good dance mix CDs that contain songs like those?

Thanks in advance!
