Default Need your expert advice...

i am trying to put a mixed cd together for my husband for xmas but would like songs that he hasnt really heard. what makes it so difficult is that he's a big music buff and i'm not. so if there are any songs you think he'd LOVE please let me know.

Here is what/who he likes:

Antique Toys
Dresden Dolls
The Killers
Radio Head
Muse
Birthday Massacre
9 Crimes from Damien Rice

just to name a few...

I was wondering if you guys had any suggestions on some artist I could try out. I want some thing along the lines of Caspian, Pelican or any other good instrumental band. Any suggestions would be greatly appreciated.

If you like garage rock, check out The Hives, and if you like that, maybe Mando Diao.

Check out Múm, a weird little electronic band from Iceland. They've got more of a different twist than ABBA or The Hives lol.
