I need rap recommendations. I like the harder stuff, but not necessarily the message that comes along with it (most of the time). But I've been in the mood for rap lately and don't really know where to start. The radio stations here play the same 10 songs over and over, so I don't want to go there for ideas.

Help.

Default Looking For Something New...

I'm looking for something new to obsess over. Some of my current interests include:

Explosions in the Sky
Dredg
The Mars Volta
Circa Survive
The Mermen
**** Dale
The Sound Of Animals Fighting
Slowdive
My Bloody Valentine

I'm very fond of harmonizing guitars, instrumentals, and distortion.

Any recommendations?

I love EITS, The Volta, Circa Survive, and TSOAF. You've got some good taste. Listen to The Fall of Troy, The Dear Hunter, and Minus the Bear.

Help!!!
I was looking through my music collection recently and I realized I have very little music from the past couple of years. My most recent album (that I purchased) is Lupe Fiasco's 'The Cool'. I've also been listening to some of In Rainbows and a bit of Portishead's Third. I like pretty much everything from Arctic Monkey's to Mos Def to Miles Davis. Any suggestions would be nice.

Can anyone suggest some bands/artists for fans of bands like Test Icicles, Fake Shark - Real Zombie!, Help She Cant Swim etc etc?

I need some good metalcore. I've got a few Converge tracks, some As I Lay Dying, Bloody Sunday, but other than that, zilch. Some really intense, moshworthy stuff would be great.
