Can someone recommend some good screamo-ish bands. Something unique that doesn't sound like all the metalcore out there. And something not very known.

Well, just to let you know, I'm not at all into this stuff. But I recently found out about this Spanish band that's pretty hard core. You might like them. If you listen to the link, let it go past the intro. The first part is acoustic Spanish guitar, but then they start to "screamo".

Sounds like a blast I'll give it a listen.

Default Swing music?

Does anyone know any really good swing music? I feel like I could get into that.

Big Bad Voodoo Daddy is a good place to start. They were my first concert ever, it was pretty amazing.

Thank, I'll check em out. So, because Iv'e never touched anything near swing and their out of my comfort zone, what do you like about them? The only reason I feel like I could get into it is because once I was a little more open I noticed I really like that "kick" in the energy and the sound is just so, like, mobile you know? Like I swear that some of the stuff I hear on old radio stations I could almost see the notes themselves dancing, dancing, dancing.

Another place to start would be to look for a swing band compilation album, that way you get one or two songs from a bunch of different groups. I use to have one ages ago, I'll go through my old CD collection and if I still have it I'll rip it to my harddrive, zip the file, upload it to mediafire, and shoot you a link.
