Wye Oak - The Knot
Mary Timony/Mary Timony Band - The Shapes We Make
Veruca Salt - American Thighs

Veruca Salt were not labeled indie then but the sound of this album fits right in with what indie is today. Because, you know, indie is today what alternative rock was in the 90s. So you might as well check out PJ Harvey too.

PJ Harvey - Dry & Rid of Me

I'd love to see your signature/links too, but the huge and obnoxious ones have caused me to block all signatures.

PCL and Low-Life are their best.

After that I'd say Technique.

thanks for the indie/female vocalist suggestions. Now for modern day blues bands.
So anyone know of modern day Blues/Blues-Rock bands/artists. Besides The Black Keys, White Stripes and Ronnie Baker Brooks.
