Well yeah, we do have our share of southern frat boys with their trucker hats, military shorts and Disturbed t shirts.

But I'm talking about actual people.

Actually the Midwest seems to be the nu-metal fan region of the country for some reason.

Well duh.

Rednecks are always the last to adapt to changing social trends. A lot of redneck women now wear crocs, it's the latest fashion down here in Buttf*ck Nowhere, Tennessee.

Redneck society is literally the dumpster of American culture.

Unfortunately, you're completely right.

That's one thing I won't miss about high school, all those fucking nu metal/hot topic worshiping kids.

haha what, my first time ever in Canada I was blown out of my head. We were staying in Quebec for a class trip and a few of us snuck out of the hotel and bought weed off some natives in a Mcdonalds down the street.

Default REALLY? haha

There are natives in Quebec? I'm kidding.. but just so ya'll know Natives are not really known for being into selling drugs.. of course you have your drunk street people that do this whether they're native or whatever. Obviously whomever you bought the pot from they weren't very bright selling drugs to strangers. haha.

And yeah I guess BC is known for producing some of the worlds best pot, and it's a small known fact that parts of Ontario have some of the best growing conditions of anywhere in the world. Apparently something to do with the light cycle in the summer.

But I think overall Canada isn't a marijuana fiends best prospect compared to Amsterdam or some other places in Europe.

We do have pot, and grow some of the worlds best pot, medical marijuana is legal but.. but other wise the law is pretty strict about it.

We bought some off a group of teenagers, no common sense between any of us at the time, really.

Tell me about it, I live there. Dear god so many kids looking to pick a fight because "[good band] is ***gy and korn/disturbed (big offender here)/slipknot is the way to go". Damn man I like my music and you like yours. Go away and wash your hair.

Yeah but here and now, 95% of active rock bands making relevant exciting music are American, as far as my tastes are that is. I can't think of any British bands from the past 5 years I respect greatly other than The Arctic Monkeys.

America:
Marnie Stern
Deerhunter
Jay Reatard
Atlas Sound
No Age
HEALTH
WAVVES
Yeah Yeah Yeah's
White Stripes
Black Lips
No Age
Abe Vigoda

Britain:
Radiohead
Art Brut (Whose last two albums sucked)
Arctic Monkeys

But I really want someone to prove me wrong, because historically, England has better music. Someone prove me wrong, please?
