Honestly, I should have put Nowhere for 1990, too. I think I've just been putting on more Breeders lately. Ride really hit their peak here. (Well, really with "Leave Them All Behind," but in terms of full-lengths, this was the last great one.)

Thanks Catherine Wheel is one of my all time favorite bands - so underrated. I actually could never get into Pavement for some reason. Strange because I tend to like alot of music in the same vein, but Malkmus' voice kinda puts me off.

I've just lost all credibility now that I said that, havent i...

Agreed on Catherine Wheel. In 92 I was a senior in high school and Black Metallic was a big hit single on the "college radio" stations at the time so it didn't feel underrated then - but, yeah, they got way too ignored after that time.
As for Pavement, you don't lose any credibility from me. If I were not a bored, stoned college student when I got into them, I may have felt the same way about Malkmus' vocals. But instead, they became a huge favorite and really changed my whole view of music.
