Thats the work of her producer, I recommend finding out who produces/writes her songs and see if you can find an artist they worked for with the vocals you like.

I'd say if you like Britney's music seek out the body of work that her producer has created... she probably doesn't know alot herself about production, but she can sure pay some good people...

Despite not being a fan of glossy modern pop, I always liked the songs and overall production of the first Savage Garden album released in '97 before the barrage of boy bands and Britneys etc......the songs I've heard from their second weren't bad either.

They weren't awful as pop bands go, and they wrote most of their own stuff, so the level of manufacturing / marketing was at least at sane levels... They basically spilt when the main songwriter and Darren hayes decided to work on separate projects... Hayes later outed himself as ***, and I really don't know what the heck the other guy is doing... I believe he was becoming more interested in production...

I had a friend who was really into them big time, and I liked a few of their songs...

oh damn it did it really blot out that word... I mean that Darren Hayes has come out of the closet as a h0m0sexual... but geez, its a common term and I didn'tuse it in a derogatory way... oh hail the overzealous political correctness of our modern era!

You can get around it by coloring one of the letters in the censored word black like so: gay. If you quote my post you can see how I did that.

It always makes me laugh that everyone from Marvin Gaye to Herbie Hancock to Dick Dale gets censored by that stupid filter.

Thanks Janzsoon! I'll be sure to use that little trick to get past the oversensitive filter in future!

I used to write horrible rap songs also. Or, I guess they were good for eleven years old.
