Ooh man, that list ain't looking good :\ If you're gonna pick universally loved classic rock songs, make sure they're universally loved first.

My new list:
Hallelujah by Jeff Buckley
Rhapsody in Blue by George Gershwin
1979 - Smashing Pumpkins

Replaced Canon because it is pretty boring
My dear friend, nothing personal, but this thread is called " 3 songs you feel...., so there 's no general rule each of us should follow..You might not like my short list as well as I might not like yours. Do you feel so sure your songs are universally loved? Who can say that? I think that every single answer is influenced by everyone's musical tastes, so it's really hard to reach a general agreement on all the 3 songs everyone is trying to recommend.
Anyway, that's my personal opinion, nothing more..

So, good songs that any well-minded music lover has no reason disliking...okay...

1) The Who - Rain O'er Me
2) The Doors - Riders on the Storm
3) Led Zeppelin - Dazed & Confused

I know they're some cliche choices, but they ain't my favorites; just three songs everyone should enjoy.

Seeing as how I've seen hate expressed for all 3 songs/bands on your list, and not a lick for mine, yes, I do feel sure.
