I'm loving JSBX's cover of Black Flag's My War

Still loving the Daytrotter live session of that:

"Texas Blues" is a very good track, and the atmosphere is so much more raw in the live sessions.

Best subtle self parody of 60s rock ever.

A friend of mine ripped this record he borrowed from a family member to his PC and sent it to me. Only when I googled it I figured the cover looked somewhat familiar to me. Took the walk to my record cabinet and... Guess what... Jup. Price tag still on it, bought it in 2006 and never once listened to it. Pity

La Dispute - "Wildlife"

Not something I would generally listen to, but a very good post-hardcore album all the same.

The debut album of one of the most prolific bands ever. I'm finding a fine listen, currently playing "No Xmas for John Quays", which has a very eerie and haunting demeanor, but is also one of their less harsh ones.

Five stars from me.
