From the Quakers album, which turns out to be one of my favorite 2012 releases.

Dude, thanks for reminding me of the 2012 release I was looking forward to but completely forgot to listen to. I feel like an idiot haha. I'm glad that it's good, but the size of the album intimidates me. Does it feel like it goes on too long, or are the songs short enough that it doesn't matter?

This is my first time giving The Fall more than a cursory listen. I do like how Mark E. Smith sounds like a ranting drunk who, more often than not, just sounds like he's talking over a song that he's basically ignoring. I keep picturing him singing at a ninety degree angle to me in indifferent contempt, instead of straight at my face like I usually do.

I just had a hankerin' for some blues, and Howlin' Wolf is pretty much my favorite blues artist. Can't go wrong with the greats.
