After becoming obsessed with Zach Hill, I'm beginning to go backwards through his discography, tackling as many albums that he's been associated with as I can. Right now I'm going through his work with Hella (and have accidentally found a rather good German smooth jazz band under the same name, incidentally), and am being completely blown away. I mean, his drumming is obviously what's drawn me to Hella, but this song- and really, everything I've heard from the band so far- has been incredible. The arrangements are simultaneously complex as all get-out, and as visceral and emotional as punk. Totally loving this band.

I agree with every word you wrote about Hella, they struck a chord in my heart too Zach Hill is a genius drummer and Spencer Seim a fine guitarist. I posted here a few weeks ago this interesting piece of music.

Let the mind exit the body and drift
Physical shells only trap you in, box you in
Nothing but a bunch of body parts and bones wrapped in skin
I'm freefalling to another dimension of space and time

nice attempt but I think that person only posts youtube videos. I've never seen them post a worded post besides song title and artist title.
