I always give a genre a chance when I try it out. Having said that, why the "daddy dick" did I decide to play the wporst album ever, "I'm Not a Fan, But the Kids Like It!" I didn't know music could get this bad.

I'll be honest, I kinda can stand them for a song or two. Partly out of amusement, and partly because their music is so tame that it's impossible to be offended by it.

You call this tame? Lyrics from one of the songs. “I could've said d---, but I won't say d--- until you grab my d---.” That's not even one percent of the pottymouthed sexuality that resides in the utterly horrid lyrics. Honestly, Wu-Tang did vulgar right. BROKENCDE DOES NOT!

Vulgarity of any sort is tame after listening to death metal for over a decade.

I'm officially scared of the genre you try so hard to get me into. Thanks, ass.

Now I'm playing Hallowed Ground. VF. It might be better than their debut, I don't know. I'm not halfway through it yet. I might have to play the debut again and see. That's another thing I should get it. Folk Punk.

To be fair, much of the extreme vulgarity is limited to the nineties and early 00's. These days we've become so desensitized to lyrics about gore and sexual sadism that we're willing to listen to death metal bands go on about the transience of flowers if it sounds nihilistic and brutal.

As down and dirty as the blues ever gets. And all the tunes are from 1929 to 1940...

You just made me think of Spartans using violets and tulips for weapons.
