My ex-girlfriend just sent this to me.
I think it's incredible. It's so beautiful it hurts.

Somehow reminded me of this song:

Since I would be the only one posting there, we don't have a 'what are you recording now?' topic. So I'll just use this one instead.
I listened to and recorded a 'best of 2010' tape.
I bought this little box of 30 minute tapes and I plan to fill one of them every year.
2010 seemed like a nice year to start with.
So here goes:

The Titles are actually
A
1. Balthazar - The BOatman
2. Wolf People - Black Water
3. The Bees - Winter Rose
4. The Upsessions - Dorothee Blackswan

B.
1. The Upsessions - Dorothee Blackswan continued
2. Trampled by Turtles - Victory
3. Sleepy Sun - Sandstorm Woman.

I guess I must have missed out on one or two tracks I liked better this year. But it still is a nice compilation .
Looking forward to doing another one next year

The Specials - ""Blank Expression"

So it's snowing tonight, and I stepped out for a smoke after getting home, and this song popped in my head. The chorus, not the beginning. I come inside and put it on, and realize the lyrics start off with talk of snow. What a weird coincidence.

[I]Snow is falling all around, seven o'clock and the roads are blocked
So I walk down town, there's no one around

I walk in a bar and immediately I sense danger
You look at me girl as if I was some kind of a, a total stranger

Where did you get that blank expression on your face?
Where did you get that blank expression on your face?

The streets are dark, and there's no-one about
I wander home and all the ,the lights are out, I keep wondering

Where did you get that blank expression on your face?
Where did you get that blank expression on your face?
Where did you get that blank expression on your face?
Where did you get that blank expression on your face?

I'd love to see your signature/links too, but the huge and obnoxious ones have caused me to block all signatures.

That is weird. I'm also shocked by the revelation that you smoke.

I'm really loving her sophomore effort, she continues to put out great songs but that's to be expected since she writes a major of them and has written numerous hits for other people.
