Ghost in the Machine - The Police

The best of their lot for me. Only Every Little Thing She Does is Magic sticks out like a sore thumb because the rest are political songs.

Israel - Siouxsie And The Banshees
I like this.

The song often feels to me as if it is on the *verge* of something. And I like the slight lurking ominous feel of it, such as when the low choral singing swells around 3:00. I may have to break down and end my run of 20 years or so of never buying any music and consider some Siouxsie. Hmm...but since it is all free on YouTube...probably not!

I'll check out their "Rock goes to college" video!

No problem! I figured it was a bit of a stretch.

I've never heard that one! Definitely has a dream feel, especially with the snoring!

The song reminds me a bit of "Crimson and Clover," which I've always liked. I remember hearing it on the radio in my room when I was about to set off for college.

For some reason, that moment of listening sticks with me. Oh yes. I remember why: because of the "Crimson" part, which made me think of my destination. I felt a little nervous but also excited about going there and facing a big change in my life. While listening to the song, I also felt nostalgic (in advance) for the very moment I was in. I knew that I wouldn't be spending as many cosy hours holed up in my childhood room painted light blue to look like the sky:

We just love music! To be honest though, I REALLY thought he'd hate that song. I figured it might have enough of a symphonic edge to make it listenable, but that's it.

I usually don't post Electronic stuff in here, but it IS what I'm listening to. So I guess it's relevant.
