By then Death were veering away from death metal and making more progressive music. You should check our their earlier music like Scream Bloody Gore or Leprosy.

Haha, I spent several hours hanging out in a bar with the drummer from that band once. They have a super bad rep in Philly for being total assholes and based on talking to that guy I can kind of see why.

He was okay, one of those people who's trying to be punk rock by having this juvenile "I hate everything" attitude, which is kind of lame for someone in their 30s to still be clinging to IMO. He was a decent conversationalist though.
