I'll have to go with Creed, although Nickelback is a very close second.

Wtf happened to some of you guys in this thread? Arcade Fire worst band of the decade? You fuckers don't like Conor Oberst? What? Get a grip.

Worst band of the decade: Brokencyde or Black Eyes Peas.

Brokencyde is hands-down the worst crap I've heard in my entire life. Closely followed by Nickelback and Creed.

Also, I'm not a fan of Arcade Fire but I don't think they need to be on a Worst Bands list. However, Conor Oberst definitely makes extremely sub-par indie hipster music (no offense Dr. Seussicide).

HAH, Conor makes sub-par music?

He may have a shocking voice, but when it comes to composition and lyrics, he's got alot of talent.

"Extremely sub-par indie hipster music?"

Don't sugarcoat man, it's patronizing. Bright Eyes is an amazing band... Conor Oberst and the Mystic Valley band is bullshit. That's what it is simply.

But I think over time Bright Eyes just became really bleh. And his lyrics never really blew me away. Sorry, just not my thing I guess.

It kind of makes me feel that you've never listened to them properly, because they evolved heavily throughout their career.

The album I liked the least was Cassadaga, their latest release. Although there were still some decent tracks on it. If it's not your thing then say it isn't "your thing". Don't drop it under that umbrella of being sub-par indie hipster music. Just say you're not fond of it.

God, I seriously can't stand the Passion Pit craze. I checked them out a few times live and couldn't bear to stay for the entire show. It was embarassing to watch them, much less be seen in the crowd. Can someone please explain this to me? Why perfectly talented bands get overlooked and Passion Pit can sell out shows? What a step back for mankind...
