In the top of my cupboard is my stash of CDs that I dont want out here with the rest of them, most of them are from my teens or when I was a kid. One of them out today...

...and it's going right back again. I used to like Eminem when I was a teenager but today I had this on and found myself laughing on occasion. Not because it was funny but because I find some of his lyrics ridiculous.

I'm not necessarily an Eminem hater. I think he's a complete twat but I think he can write. However, even though there are a few tracks I quite like on this one I have to say this is not for me at all. I know this album has a little following here and of course, each to their own but I just find this childish now.

I've never heard it all the way through but from the songs I've heard, everything you said seems pretty accurate.....

Not what I expected....sort of hollow. Can't get into it at all. Doubt it will grow on me. Hope I like the rest of their discography a little better.
And dear GOD that cover art is fugly.

Definitely do that, it's 10 times better than Acrobatic Tenement, a perfect album in my opinion.

I don't really like Acrobatic Tenement either. I couldn't get into it. I really liked the early EPs though.

Check it out ASAP, that album's a masterpeice. And yeah Acrobatic Tenemant is really lame. The first song is decent but the rest is just Cap'n Jazz rip off ****.

Aw, sorry you couldn't dig it! While I do prefer RoC to it, I love that album. It has a kind of rawness that other ATD-I lacks. (Whether that's a good thing or not it up to you.)

^ I have a suspicion that i'm gonna feel the same way about the Marshall Mathers LP when I listen to that again as well. Maybe not though, i always used to prefer that one.
