I'm listening to the entire In Flames discography. That album wasn't good either.
Their new style just doesn't work for me. It's like indie rock metal, bleh.

Barren Earth - On Lonely Towers (2015)

Sheesh, I haven't seen someone piss away good will as fast as these guys since M. Night Shyamalan. I thought their 2012 album being wank was a one off fluke, but now with On Lonely Towers I'm afraid I'm done giving this band chances. It feels like the worse parts of Dark Tranquility meets the worst elements of cheesy '80's hair metal.

I found the vast majority of Lacuna Coils discography to be mediocre. It sounds soo freaking sameish.

Found both rather mediocre in terms of songwriting. Just rehashing trends of the time.

Muse are dreadful. Matt Bellamy is one of the worst people in music. He talks about political and social concepts like a 13 year old, and his lyrics are just rubbish, not a degree of subtlety at all. He certainly ain't no Thom Yorke. They are the musical equivalent of a pretentious school child. As you can tell I really dislike Muse.
