Yeah, no doubt their earlier stuff would be better, I just started with the wrong one and haven't gotten around to checking out others. I like what I've heard of Archers of Loaf. Don't love, just like.

I'd love to see your signature/links too, but the huge and obnoxious ones have caused me to block all signatures.

I'm not prepared to throw this away at first, but there was just something about this album that I didn't find appealing. Some of the songs were great, but it had this weird habit of shifting over to these softer ones that made it hard to get my rock on. I think I'll give it another shot today, but I'm not feeling too good about what the results will be.
I could never seem to get into that album. There's a handful of great songs on it, namely 'Microcastle', 'Agoraphobia' and 'Never Stops'. But the album just seems to plod on and on without anything else really grabbing your attention, i often find myself hitting the stop button before the album is near finished.

^ I've run trough it about twice so far, it's decent with a few standouts. The second CD (Weird Era Continued) is definitely more interesting, I feel.

Not digging December Underground by AFI. Most of it is just so bad, at least to me.

Tindersticks - Tindersticks (1st)

I had such high hopes for this album but something just didn't click with me. I'm not sure what it was, because this was a recommendation from the man who introduced me to The Standard, which I think is the best indie rock band to ever grace my ears. Oh well, diff'rent strokes for diff'rent folks I guess.

Burmp...

You Am I - Hourly Daily

One great song, but otherwise it's just as bad as the most boring modern indie out there; not a trace of character, about as edgy as a bouncy castle, just really really average stuff.
