Give me Nick Cave over the boring nasel dirges that Bob Dylan calls music anyday.

If anything Nick Cave has more in common with Johnny Cash than Bob Dylan.

I was trying to say Paul sucked but my shitty grammar is catching up with me. I was trying to say that Paul has a consistently bad solo career.

I got four albums by him but haven't really listened to more than a few tracks. Should probably get to it.

But of course. What else is there to say. Even his latest facial hair is cool.

Jeez, and I never nominated him months ago because I was sure he wasn't going to get in :: (Not saying he will but has started well)

I do like me some Nick Cave but I dunno.

I've found that it's been scientifically proven that guys who sing in a soft baritone voice are 70% more likely to make me go to sleep. But I don't mean that in an entirely negative way. His voice is just so soothing that it kinda makes me tired.

He's a hella talented musician and he makes great music. But it's a certain kind of music that I'm not really compelled to listen to that often.

But whatever. I'll vote yes.

10 to 1?

I voted yes but honestly it was barely so...
Whatever, I think I'm just pissed that PiL failed to be nominated.

I guess Nick Cave deserves to be nominated, but honestly I don't think we need him when he have the simular but far superior Bob Dylan.

Yeah, I'm still trying to figure out how that happened as well.

To elaborate on the point I made a few posts back, anyone with such a consistent discography deserves to go in by default. His first band Boys Next Door were crap, Nocturama with the Bad Seeds is pretty lame, but other those that I can't think of an album with his name on it that I don't like.
