it should deffinatley be bumped up to a 2/3 vote but i also belive that should only need 100 posts that way we can sort out the people who actually like talking/arguing about music and the ones that just post **** in the lounge/media sections

to JJJ idk if ill still be posting in november either but that doesnt mean i dont deserve a vote

Yes it does when it comes to the site's Hall of Fame. The idea of it all is to picks bands that represent the site's overall taste. It has nothing to do with your musical knowledge.

For sure anyone can nominate and vote on the nominees.

The second part is a legit concern, although the idea of for those people to vote based on a balance of their assessment and the site's overall opinion. And you or anyone can post in the induction thread persuading people to vote in favor or against if you felt strongly.

This is exactly how I feel.

500, 1,000, 2,000 posts. Six months, One year etc. I'm not sure what's best. I want a line that everyone can live with though, that's the discussion we (all with interest) need to have.

I don't think there should be any because someone who's been posting here for a month has more of an idea of what the communities like than someone like...say ArtistintheAmbulance who has been here for years but only drops by once every few months.
