Really hoping to see them come out on top. If JD got in and Radiohead doesn't I'm cutting myself.

Radiohead introduced me to so many different genres of music
before them i liked shadows fall ugh
they have made far more brilliant albums than other previous entries
wu-tang and king crimson with one to their names
i think at the very least they should be nominated if not inducted

dont let the inevitable hipster backlash set in
or the hype

King Crimson has numerous brilliant albums. And why do the amount of great albums have to have such an effect on whether they make it or not...the mass amount of influence Wu Tang left on hip hop is more valid in my opinion than some good or "Brilliant" albums.

What? King Crimson have been making albums for the last 39 years and continue to do so.

(bare with me ive only heard about half of their studio output)
that has bowled me over is red with a minor citation towards in the court of the crimson king.
the others have all been rather meandering prog in my eyes....

and with regards to wu-tangs influence...
any of them anygood?
cause i cant think of a single one that compares

and apologies for my one eyed fanaticism

Hahaha watch Wu-Tang and King Crimson and Elliot Smith get nominated and not Radiohead.

I think thats my only real problem with this board. The above scenario taking place doesn't even suprise me because everyone's worried about voting for a band everyone likes. Well fuck that. I voted yes, They're overrated, yes, but so is any band that breaches the personal hype/enjoyment ratio we all have. Doesn't mean they're not one of the best bands of the past 20 years.
