This should be interesting.

I really like this band, they play an interesting twist on conventional stereotypes of metal and are certainly a welcome reprieve from the trolls of post-hardcore. I rarely find myself listening to them anymore since I gradually migrated away from that kind of music but I still enjoy the odd track or two. I noticed you omitted their best one.

Also to note (not that it really matters) Chris Pennie might be the best live drummer I've ever listened to.

Alot of times I don't have enough interest or knowledge in the bands put up here to justify choosing. I read the thread, but usually just sit back and leave it to other members who I know are much more knowledgeable, and will make good cases. In DEP's case though, I have to jump in and offer a yes(!) vote.

Amazing band that is constantly evolving and staying fresh from album to album. Calculating Infinity is indeed legendary and easily one of the best math rock albums ever released. As they've pushed forward over the years, they've evolved. Evolving sound is usually a scary term for fans, but so far Dillinger always has it under control and released nothing but top-notch material. They never fail to please, whether you're seeing them live or just listening to the album.

Quite understandable, but a lamentably unnecessary post all the same.

i'm pretty sure alot of the people on here will vote no but i will say yes as they are a band that brought on a whole new form of music and without them many of my favorite bands wouldn't exist.

plus it would be nice to see some more heavyness in the HoF.

Abstain. I don't care for the genre itself so I have no place voting for it.

Calculating Infinity is kind of a classic. Irony Is A Dead Scene is good. But Miss Machine was one of my biggest letdown albums. I can't stand Puciato's 'clean' vocals. To me the band sounds terrible when polished.

No

Abstaining since I've only heard one song. It was actually on the MB Cyberpunk Comp for September. I enjoyed it.
