True but then that's just the world we live in. Most things in our lives belong to or are in the process of being sold off to one J. Paul Getty or another.

I remember hearing the story of Bruce Johnston (Beach Boys) flying to London with a copy of Pet Sounds. He was introduced to Lennon & McCartney via Keith Moon and then proceeded to hold an album listening session of Pet Sounds with the two Beatles and a Who in his hotel room shortly before it was released.

Lennon and McCartney were impressed after first listen that they wanted to hear the album again and Bruce obliged. Just one of those cool rock & roll stories that turned out to be true.

I just found these in a Waukegan FB group. I lived in Waukegan when I was just a wee lad, and I was 9 when Rush came through with this show. I had no idea who they were until a few years later when I first heard 2112 on July 4th 1979.
