This forum made me a believer of post-punk, New Wave, Indie stuff, shoegaze, and a multitude of other things. No small feat considering how egotistical I am.

In short, people here have gotten me into more stuff here than I've done in turn for all of you. Damn it!

I love you guys.

Grunge is a big part of it, yes. Plus Britpop to certain extent. And a bunch of other "alternative" type stuff, like the Chili Peppers 90s output, Smashing Pumpkins, etc.

I could swear from memory I remember more people bringing you up as an unknown in the Spill Your Guts thread, but this is all I could find:

Ahhh, I love mainstream 90s rock (well, some of it)!

Mainstream 90s rock bands that make up a significant portion of my library:

Nirvana
Red Hot Chili Peppers
Weezer
Smashing Pumpkins
Rage Against the Machine
311
Green Day

I think Weezer is probably the only band on that list that I'm not completely sick to death of.

I'm not sure what you actually listen to come to think of it.
I've seen your RYM and you have a ridiculous amount of records in your collection, but you haven't rated any of them so I didn't know which ones you consider good and which ones you're not keen on.

I think I know one band you love: The Fall?

Er... I don't have a RYM account.

Haha. I think you have me confused with Urban. I've barely ever listened to The Fall.
