I really liked the style of guitar playing from the get-go. Really mellow and nice. When the drums kicked in, it gave the song a kind of cool vibe. Vocally, the guy was pretty all right; lyrically it did leave a little something to be desired, but it did feel very honest which is always a major plus. I dig it. 9/10

Didn't like it. It's not that it's necessarily a bad song, just not the sort of thing I prefer to listen to. 5/10

When it started I thought "ok an atmospheric intro, where's this going to go?", so I waited... and waited... then eventually realised it must be some sort of dark ambient track. At the end of it all though it just makes you feel a bit disappointed. Although I like ambient music there wasn't really much interesting happening here to keep me hooked or to warrant going back for another listen. 5/10

I thought this would roughly be the response for this song, but I tried anyway. Taken out of the context of the album, it doesn't seem like much. It's much easier to appreciate as track 3 of the Ampos album, then as an individual song. Know what I mean?

It may be blocked in America; I had to go to Youtube to listen to it on the WarnerBros channel. With that said, I can get behind some Depeche Mode. The sound is kind of dated, but in the way that's more nostalgic than in the unlistenable manner of some artists of the same era. It's just a cool song. 8.5/10.0
