I really like Andrew Bird, that album and that song. I think his lyrics are incredibly smart and clever and the instrumentals are lush and great as usual 9/10

The Black Heart Procession - "Square Heart"

I'd love to see your signature/links too, but the huge and obnoxious ones have caused me to block all signatures.

Sorry to say, it's not really something I would listen to. It's a bit to dull for my taste. It's by no means a bad song though, I found my self playing air drums, always a good sign.
6/10

Yeah The Black Heart Procession is not for everyone, I find their sound a bit dull most of the time too - or maybe dull is not the right word, but depressing. That was one of my favorite songs by them though.

Squarepusher - "Iambic 5 Poetry"

7/10
It seems like a mixture of Franz Ferinand and the Clash. Which sounds like a good Combination, but in the end the song itself isn't too interesting for me. Could be very well that other songs of this band work for me. I'll have to check that out

P.s.: PEZ!

I'd say Harvest and After the Goldrush.
And you might want to try Crosby, Stills, Nash & Young's "Déja Vu" as well.

Oldschool Ska from Japan.
It has to be your thing. Wonder what the next person thinks

I'm surprised you didn't know Squarepusher already! Glad you like the song, it really is amazing.

I'm digging the Satisfact song, I'd never heard of them before. I see they share some members with bands I do know and enjoy on occasion: Lync, Love As Laughter, FCS North and Modest Mouse. I shall investigate further. 7/10

At first I thought it was a misspelling of Hot Snakes. But definitely not. Playing it now. I'm not the biggest fan of ska but like the occasional song - I just never got into it to the point of buying anything, except The Specials. This is not bad at all, but wouldn't persuade me to investigate further. 6/10.

I just posted this in the video thread, but whatever. This is "It Won't Be Long" by Super_Collider, a collaboration between Jamie Lidell and Chilean techno dude Cristian Vogel. Best enjoyed on good headphones or a good soundsystem. Stock iPod headphones? Don't bother.
