Kno - Death is Silent

Which makes me think I should check out some Cunninglynguists.

Ah, remembered yet another favorite this year: freak-folk/psychedelic jazz-fusion doesn't come much better than this-

1. The Tallest Man on Earth "The Wild Hunt"
2. Agalloch "Marrow of the Spirit"
3. Joanna Newsom "Have One On Me"
4. Deerhunter "Halcyon Digest"
5. Envy "Recitation"

that's tentatively my top 5 this year, though I'm still going through and relistening to a lot of stuff, and some new stuff that I completely ignored. I must say I wrote off the Best Coast album before even hearing it and I listened to it yesterday and really really really liked it, even if it's kind of hipster trash.
