You are probably the hardest person on MB to pick something for since you already have everything but I'll give it a shot. Just give me a bit and I'm sure I'll come up with something.

2002 - Les Cygnes Et Les Corbeaux - Christian Vander

I've never seen Burning Down outside the classical forum much, and I was curious what this album would sound like to somebody who is entirely from that background as it is sort of a psuedo-classical piece. I myself, bridged to classical from avant-garde/experimental so it's more difficult for me to fairly gauge what a more traditional mind would take of it.
Yes, I did listen to this (as you can probably tell in my last fm chart), and I really enjoyed it. Correct me if I'm wrong, but was Christian Vander was the drummer for Magma? Anyways, the whole album is like a jazz/classical/avant-garde fusion. I had to listen to it a couple of times before I decided that I actually liked it The vocal parts are very ambient and repetitive, almost like the voices are supporting the instruments. Thank you Skaligojurah!

Yeah, glad you did. True, Vander is the drummer for Magma, I think this was his attempt to prove that he could do a work without utilizing his virtuoso drumming skills. It has touches of Magma, but is generally well more subdued.

Now, I have an idea what album I want to send out next, now just to find out who to send it to.

Terence Hill, as recently confirmed during an interview to an Italian TV talk-show, was offered the role but rejected it because he considered it "too violent". Dustin Hoffman and John Travolta declined the role for the same reason. When Al Pacino was considered for the role of John Rambo, he turned it down when his request that Rambo be more of a madman was rejected.
Al Pacino = God
