Noro? Daisy? At The Bottom? In A Jar? I mean, it's not their strongest piece, but if you're not a fan of the screaming there are still a fair amount of great tracks...

I tend to shy away from sharing my screamo/emo taste a little (just because none of my friends like the genre) but those are two fine bands right there, you should never be ashamed to admit you like them. (My brother makes fun of me for liking screamo too, I understand)

Well, my friends know I like depressing music, so everytime I say I don't like one of their songs they always make satirical statements like, "At least I don't listen to stuff that sound like, I'm gonna kill myselffffff"

-_- lol. What are friends for right? Haha

My mother and some of my friends don't understand why I listen to post-rock and other instrumental stuff. My mother says it's not "real" music if there's no vocals. Other than that some people give me hard time since I like emo/screamo bands and they don't know what real emo and screamo are.
Thankfully my best friends like the same stuff as me (most of my best friends play in a post-rock band with me)

P.S I f'n love I Hate Myself

Terence Hill, as recently confirmed during an interview to an Italian TV talk-show, was offered the role but rejected it because he considered it "too violent". Dustin Hoffman and John Travolta declined the role for the same reason. When Al Pacino was considered for the role of John Rambo, he turned it down when his request that Rambo be more of a madman was rejected.

I find Daisy by Brand New to be utterly refreshing from their previous work. I like each of their albums in different ways.. they tried a lot of different things in Daisy. Sounds good man.

My friends and I share the same kind of.. "listen to whatever genre we feel like at the time," thing, so I don't have any real negative reactions from them. My previous ex used to listen to ONLY rap/hip hop and it got really annoying to me because he is so closed minded towards any other genre. After we broke up, I began enjoying hip hop a lot but I kept a good mix of other things.. He's the one who turned me on to the Roots, Big Boi, a Tribe Called Quest and hiphopdx.com for the mixtapes..

Oh and my mom has begun humming along to Wu and Notorious tracks in the car haha.. and she's always down for hearing random tidbits of info on certain bands. My dad is the person who got me into classic rock.. and my older brothers always had band practice at our house and invited me to shows, so I appreciate punk/rock and grew up to local bands and stuff like the Distillers, NOFX, Sublime, the Decedents, Bad Religion, System of a Down etc. Now my little brother takes my music and I hear him rocking out to Metallica and Slipknot. We're raising a rocker
