In the early '70s, Miles Davis opened for The Steve Miller Band.

I went to Sars Stock in Toronto ('03 I think?). They had a bunch of different bands, most being classic rock. But the weirdest thing they did was put Justin Timberlake on in the last "set". It basically went Rush, The Guess Who, Justin Timberlake, AC/DC, then The Rolling Stones. With most of the audience being guys in their 40s, they weren't too pleased. He had to dodge water bottles the whole time. And then he came back out to do "Miss You" with the Stones and he had to dodge water bottles again. Keith Richards had to tell people off.

Water bottles start around 4:35, Keith Richards around 4:55

Haha I had completely forgotten about that little "Cry Me a River" rendition thrown in there.

This is what happens when you put a teeny pop duo on the same festival bill as Slipknot & Rage Against The Machine..

Any excuse to post this again

The Thrills toured North America about 8 years ago now and the Kings Of Leon opened for them at most venues.

^^HAHAHAHAHAHAHAHA that is amazing. By the looks of it they created a deadlier moshpit than Slipknot could have ever dreamed of.

My college had a fall "welcome back" concert with Chingy and Derek Bently I'm still not sure who actually thought that was a good idea.

The Mars Volta have opened for both Red Hot Chili Peppers and System of a Down.
I really wish I could have gone to either one of those.

I thought the dual-headlining concert with Coheed and Cambria and Porcupine tree was cool, but very few people in the crowd liked both of them.
Also Coheed and Cambria opening for Slipknot was pretty funny in my eyes.

EDIT: Oh, and Muse and My Chemical Romance.
