Default Unusual Tour Pairings

I just saw that Def Leopard will be touring with Heart this summer. Who comes up with these pairings? I can't imagine that there will be very many people in attendance who are big fans of both bands. What's the most unusual concert match-up you ever saw?

Heart and Def Leppard doesn't seem that weird of a pairing to me. Both are hard rock bands and Heart's comeback coincided with the peak of Def Leppard's popularity.

^^yeah

weirdest I've seen is Rush/Primus, nothing in common besides having virtuoso bassists and the bassist wrote most of the songs and also sing lead

The Rolling Stones and Nickleback was an insulting pair up. Chad couldn't sing his way out of a paper bag.

I'm not sure if they ever had a concert but I don't like JT and any other black rapper who collaborates with him. Justin Tim is like very desperate to be black. Just saying.

You know this is in a classic rock subforum?

Oh well, I'll move it to general music.

Its just a pairing with money rather then sound in mind is all. Heart fans and Def Leppy fans don't really seem to have a whole lot of overlap other then the age bracket.
