The middle option. I really don't see any reason to judge an artist on their sex. I will admit that every man has a bit of sexism and racism hardwired into them, that is only natural. But it is how we question and deal with our natural instinct that define us I think. I have a load of favourite female musicians and singers.

I don't think it's fair to disregard female vocalists entirely. There are soo many different styles and voice types, I'm sure there are women singers for everyone's taste. The statement women aren't capable of conveying emotion in their singing is ridiculous!!! Just try Enya, Adele, or Katy Perry for a deeper sound. They convey emotion very well! Hayley Westenra, Renee Fleming, Taylor Swift, and Beyonce sing a bit higher, and are amazing!
(I'm a woman btw )

Ah, ok cool. Very generally speaking, I think male voices are better suited for rock. To each his/her own!
