I didn't know about some of these - thanks. I think I would've been way into the Coathangers in 1993-ish.

Here's some "all-female hip hop": Northern State. I like them well enough.

"Vixen", They fit the glam rock and hair scene in the 80s. (being all female)

Vixen is the best all-female hard rock band, for sure.

Why do you bump threads to post the same thing you've already previously posted the page before?

Its irritating and annoying enough, by just posting a video, without any comment on the subject.

I'd say your post is more annoying than mine. The OP asks 'Which All-Female Bands and Songs are your favorites?' The music speaks for itself.

What's really annoying is when some random guy comes in and doesn't contribute anything.

I agree completely, and the only thing worse than that, is a member that has more than just one profile in order to support the other one. Which I suspect is the case concerning the last two previous post. Ive been here at MB and on enough other music forums, long enough to tell when that is the case most of the time, because most make it quite obvious to all.

Its quite easy to see who does and and doesn't contribute by just reading some of their previous post, not just one or two. Everyone embeds videos from time to time without much comment, but when you read ten or more post from someone without any comment at all, that says it all which is a little ridiculous in my opinion.

Don't get me wrong, I really don't care that much about what the other person does or does not do. Like I stated before, it is annoying to the ones that do actually add to the forums.

Based on this advice, I listened to Warpaint's "Lissie's Heart Murmur" and a few other songs by them. I was disappointed because I expected their music to be at least a little warlike. Instead, their music sounds about as un-warpaint-like as I could imagine. I think their name should have been Peacepaint, because that would give you a better prediction of the gentle sound to expect:

Warpaint - "Lissie's Heart Murmur"
A fairly pretty, docile song, but not what I expected from a group called "Warpaint"

I don't mind if people just share the individual songs they like without commenting on them, because one of my goals for the thread is to have a repository of song videos by all-female bands so that I can listen to them here rather than hunt them down all over the internet.

So it's okay with me, Necro, if skaltezon or anyone else just wants to embed or provide links to youtube videos they like, even if the songs are by the same band that they mentioned earlier.
