I'm pretty sure I've mentioned this somewhere on MB before, but this song is Terrible not only because of it's overwrought, Velveeta awfulness but also because it was impossible to escape back in 92.

I played this song at a pub in the U.K. back in 2004 on a video jukebox. Let's just say the barkeep was pretty pissed and immediately refunded my quid.

Only this song you don't like? Or do you hate her in general?

Warning: This song is both genius and terrible in equal measure. A very thorough guide in how to rhyme 'shit' and 'bitch'.

Oh yeah, it was released 1989.

I don't know what was worse. This song or the 5 BILLION remixes that it seemed to spawn at the time.

Not to mention that at the time it seemed anyone with a magazine, newspaper, TV or radio show was hailing her as some kind of musical genius, while I just sat there in a stunned silence wondering if the world had indeed gone mad.

Genius, pah
Where is she now eh?
